Are Scentsy Buddies and Scent Paks safe for children?

Both Scentsy Buddies and Scent Paks have passed stringent product safety testing for the U.S. and Canada, including specific safety tests for children’s toys. Both products passed tests for tear strength and foreseeable misuse, fabric composition and cleanliness and toxicological assessments for banned or restricted chemicals without producing detectable amounts of any such substance.

How big is my Scentsy Buddy?

Standard Scentsy Buddies are 16 inches (41 cm) tall. In some instances, height may vary by the Buddy design.

How do I clean my Scentsy Buddy?

Spot cleaning is the best way to take care of your Scentsy Buddy. Machine washing and drying may damage your Buddy’s fur or stuffing.

What are the step-by-step instructions for using my Scentsy Buddy?

Your Buddy is ready to play as soon as it arrives! Simply open the zippered pouch in your Buddy's back, insert a Scent Pak and zipper the pouch back up.

How long will the fragrance in a Scent Pak last?

About 30 days.

How long should I wait to change Scent Pak fragrances?

You can change Scent Paks at any time. For the best experience, remove the current Scent Pak, wait a day or two for the fragrance to dissipate, then insert a new Scent Pak.

What is the recommended age for Buddy Clips?

All Buddy Clips are safe for children ages 3 and older. Buddy Clips manufactured after August 2022 are safe for all ages.

How big are the Buddy Clips?

Buddy Clips vary between 5 inches and 8 inches (12 cm and 20 cm) tall.

How long does the scent last?

Buddy Clips are filled with 1.5 oz. of fragrance beads, the same material used in our Scent Paks. Fragrance will last about 30 days.

When the fragrance fades, can I refill my Buddy Clip with a Scent Pak?

No. There is no zippered pouch in the Buddy Clip to insert a Scent Pak. We do not recommend refilling Buddy Clips.

When the scent runs out, can I exchange it for a new one?

No.

What are Buddy Clips made of?

Just as the designs of Buddy Clip characters differ, the fabric differs as well. Most Buddy Clips are made of polyester with a polypropylene clip.

Is the clip easy for kids to use?

Yes. The clip requires gentle pressure to open.

Scentsy products come with a lifetime replacement warranty for manufacturing defects. If your product is damaged in shipping from Scentsy, has a manufacturing defect, or an electrical issue, it may be returned with no limitation in time. Please provide your order number and information when inquiring about a warranty issue.

30-day satisfaction guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with your product, you may return it in resalable condition for an exchange within 30 days of the delivery date for a like product. Scentsy does not offer cash refunds.

Scentsy Diffusers, Scentsy Go, Scentsy Go Solid and Scentsy Air Purifier are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Any Scentsy Air Purifier, Scentsy Go or Scentsy Diffuser found to be defective or damaged under normal use and care within six months of purchase will be replaced with the same, or comparable, product at Scentsy’s discretion at no cost to you. After six months, Scentsy will replace any of these products due to manufacturer defects, but will require a processing fee.
